About P.A.T.H

PATH is a creative planning tool which starts in the future and works backwards to an outcome of first (beginning) steps that are possible and positive. It is excellent for team building. It has been used to mediate conflicts. It is loved by people who actually want to change the ways we currently work. Groups teaching PATH as a tool will hopefully have a copy for each student. PATH is not for the faint of heart. It is very results oriented - Jack Pearpoint
PATH is a useful planning tool including use in strategic planning, professional development, individual planning and project planning in a wide range of  organisations and communities including:
  • Ngati Mutunga marae and iwi development
  • Ngāruawahia community (movers and shakers within whānau supported by Ngā Miro Health Centre)
  • Young Mums (Turuki Healthcare, Māngere)
  • Dziah Dance Academy (Te Kaha o te Rangatahi – South Auckland)
  • Mauria te Pono Trust, Palmerston North and Gisborne (Whanau PATH planning)
  • Whanau Ora PATH planning undertaken by Whanau Ora Providers
  • Ministry of Education Special Education Services, Tauranga
  • Otago Polytechnic (Engineering/Technology and Building divisions)

There are a growing number of organisations who have embedded PATH into their services including Te Papa Takaro o Te Arawa (Rotorua), Te Kaha o te Rangatahi (Manurewa), Rise Up Trust (Māngere), Te Ikaroa Rangatahi Social Services (Hastings), Mauria te Pono Trust (Gisborne), Tu Tama Wahine o Taranaki (New Plymouth), Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services (Kaikohe), Te Pūtahitanga o Te Waipounamu (Christchurch).
